Excellent and transparent service! The Drain Specialists quickly sent a service technician after I called them to report a problem with my drain. The technician was friendly and professional and he solved the problem fairly quickly. I was charged a reasonable amount that matched what their initial estimates were when I first called them. Would definitely recommend!

Found our laundry room with three inches of water--on a Saturday-- called The Drain Specialists and wow!-- what fantastic service! Have to recognize KEN, the person on call, who called quickly, asking us appropriate questions and things to try before he came out for the 'overtime rate'-- very helpful. Turns out it was our main sewer that was blocked with roots; he was able to clear it within an hour -- he had even researched city records to see how and when our pipes had been fixed/replaced --and gave us great tips for keeping it clear. Such a relief! HIGHLY recommend.

I had a backed up sewer line. Like anyone hiring a plumber right now I was worried about time and cost. I called. A professional woman answered and gave me hourly quotes for the lines they service and told me I'd have someone by midday. Within 2hrs Chris appeared. He fixed my problem. He saw another issue I may want to address and gave me the option of doing it myself or him doing it with a cost in the same breath. I really respected the upfront pricing. He managed to complete all of the work in an hour. I was provided updates, answers to my questions and a summary at the end before paying. I plan get root maintenance set up with them as soon as possible and would recommend this company. Because Covid: Chris arrived with a mask on properly and in fresh disposable gloves. He changed his gloves after working and before handling my payment. He cleaned my card and the pen before and after we each held them.

Excellent customer service! They were prompt with the pipe stoppage and were able to clear the line without charging me an arm and a leg. They even recommended the excavating team who did an awesome job replacing our sewer line. These guys know what they are doing! I appreciate all of their help and would recommend them to anyone who is struggling with their sewer line or drain concerns.

Today a friend of mine had a clogged drain. She called a different company who came out and spent two hours but we're unable to unclog her line. They took a half an hour off the time, but still charged her over $300. They recommended a high power flush and said that would be an additional $492. Next we called Drain Specialists. They had somebody out later that day, who was able to clear the line using the same equipment the first company had been using. They were able to clear the line in 15 minutes and charged us $91. I found the technician to be highly competent, friendly, and efficient. I will absolutely be using them for all of my clogged drain problems in the future.

Kind! Clean! Professional! Adam took his shoes off at the door and I didn't have to even ask. I will never trust anyone but the Drain Specialists for our plumbing needs. We recently bought an old house on the South Hill with limited access to our snake out line. Three other plumbers came and looked at it and said "no way" before these guys showed up and handled our problem with confidence and ease. They were extremely prompt and charged a very reasonable amount. In addition, they offered very good advice about what we should do in the future to make our house plumbing situation better. My husband was sick with gastroenteritis the day the plumbing backed up (worst day ever!) and we would have been UP A CREEK without Eldon et al. Don't trust anyone else-- these are your guys!!! My regular plumber was booked out for a week and we needed a drain cleaned out on a new house we had just purchased. I called around and this company had someone immediately available. They gave an upfront hourly cost (unlike a couple of other services I've used in the past) that was moderately reasonable. Their technician showed up on time. He was clean. He kept a clean work area. He was very professional and polite and got the job done very quickly and efficiently and seemed to know what he was doing. I've had several bad experiences in the past with other drain cleaning companies. I'm happy to find this company.

So far this company gets 5 stars. I will post an update after the work is done. I got a recommendation from a friend. They open at 8 am so I first called Roto Rooter because they are 24 hours. I left my name and number with a girl who answered and she said she would have someone call me right away. I called them at 6:30am and still have not heard from anyone (its now 9) I called The Drain Specialist at 8 sharp and they had someone at my house by 8:20. WOW!!!! Looking forward to telling Roto Rooter no thanks the work is already completed by someone else, if they ever call me back
